Ginger soda

A refreshing anti-inflammatory cocktail that both aids in digestion and boosts your metabolism as some of the many benefits ginger has to offer!


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped and peeled ginger

  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup of water

  • Soda water


  • Blend ginger with 1/2 cup water until smooth. Strain, pressing on solids to bring 1/2 a cup of juice. Stir together ginger juice, lime juice, and maple syrup. (Ginger base can be stored for up to 1 week and makes enough for 10 drinks.)

  • In a glass, put 2 tbsp of ginger base then add some ice. Fill with soda and enjoy!
