What are holistic nutritionists and what do they do?

The best way to define Holistic Nutrition as a whole is that it is a health care system based on integrating the physical, nutritional, environmental, emotional and spiritual components of one’s life. Instead of taking a one size fits all methodology, we believe in bio-individuality therefore each person requires specific needs in order to thrive. This modality seeks to be preventative through implementing practices that will nourish the mind, body and spirit.  If there is an imbalance in the body, it is our mission to seek out the underlying factors that are causing you adverse symptoms. Although signs and symptoms may appear to be similar to someone else’s, the root cause are most often unique to the individual. After an in-depth assessment, we implement a carefully planned protocol that will help you get to your most optimal state.

This is done by using strategies such as a meal planning with herbs and food as nourishment, and a protocol containing the support of natural-sourced supplementation (including vitamins and minerals) catered to your current needs. With my specialization in digestive care, food sensitivities, meal planning, detoxification and stress management, together we will get you back to feeling like your best self!
